Zach Mangan grew up outside Philadelphia. Much to the chagrin of his parents, teachers, and sometimes police, he spent much of his childhood drawing and painting on every flat surface available. After attending Northeastern University in Boston for computer animation, he never used his degree again and instead specialized in creating architecture for video games. His first big break was working at Rockstar San Diego where he worked on Red Dead Redemption and GTA5. More importantly he met his wife Kate. Together they wandered up and down the West Coast collecting old cars, several dogs, and a house outside San Francisco. After working on Dead Space, Battlefield 4 and Call of Duty, he and Kate moved to Amsterdam. This turned out to be a great choice as it was a lovely place to wait out Covid-19. Post Pandemic, Zach and Kate briefly lived in Brighton, England before moving to Lisbon where they currently reside . Zach spends his days drawing, painting, playing video games, and volunteering at the local animal shelter.  When not fostering a dog, he has two of his own: Pika and Boomer.
